Luckie Lottari gaat door het muzikantenleven als Luckie. 24 jaar out en zoals hij het zelf zegt: drunk romantic. Dat dronken horen we niet zo, maar wat we wel horen is pure pracht. Neem nou bijvoorbeeld liejde I Found God. Het is zijn debuutsingle en man o man, wat voor een. Hozier-achtig bij tijd en wijlen.
Echt religieus is Luckie trouwens niet:
“I don’t know if there is a God, I don’t really want to know. I’ve always liked the idea of nothing but calling myself an atheist is something I’ve found increasingly difficult as time has gone on. What I do know is this… When I think about the characteristics that a God is said to have; Strength, the power to create and protect life, the burden of having to watch the thing you’ve created make its own mistakes, all that crumpet…It doesn’t sound like a man to me, it sounds like our God is a woman.”
