The Shyp geeft je je dagelijks fix

Retro bluesy vibes, daar houden we van. Early Black Keys, Bonnie Cried, Lonesome Shack. En ga zo nog maar even door. Daar zetten van vanaf vandaag ook The Shyp in, met liedje The Fix.
The Shyp is een wisselend collectief. Maar wat als een paal boven water staat in de voorliefde voor oude Chicago blueshelden.

From a smoky bar room, a troubled man makes one last desperate plea to the woman he loves as she has made the decision to spread her wings and move across the sea.  Realizing that her needs come before his, but also torn by the decision – he is fearful of succumbing to his demons.  Through dual uses of symbolism, likened both to Addiction and being ‘Broken’ – there is no end to the pain he may endure to get by, and no easy FIX for heartbreak.

The Fix is pas hun tweede single, maar het voelt alsof we ze al jaren grijsdraaien. En dat is een goed teken!
